Public Meeting Planned on FM Area Diversion 2025 Transportation Impacts

FARGO, ND (April 10, 2025) – The Metro Flood Diversion Authority, along with its partners, will be hosting a public meeting to review 2025 road construction and planned detours for the FM Area Diversion project.

The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Southern Valley Fire & Rescue, 413 Main Avenue in Horace, North Dakota.

Impacted routes will include 38th Street West, 32nd Avenue West, 52nd Avenue West, and 40th Avenue West, along the stormwater diversion channel, as well as 45th Street South and County Roads 16 and 17, near the southern embankment.

The MFDA will continue to update its website, https://fmdiversion.gov/project-status-road-closures, with current road closure and detour information.
