Thomas Fuchs Senior Construction Manager Tom Fuchs joined the Metro Flood Diversion Authority as its first senior construction manager in July 2022. In this role, he works directly with leadership across multiple organizations and construction sites for the Fargo-Moorhead Area Diversion comprehensive project.
Fuchs brings 17 years of experience in construction project management experience with emphasis in heavy-civil construction. He previously worked on Louisiana’s West Closure Complex, which is a major component of the Greater New Orleans Hurricane and Storm Damage Risk Reduction System, as well as numerous infrastructure projects in Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Iowa and Ontario. He joined the MFDA after working with Kiewet Western Co. in Littleton, Colorado, and Wanzek Construction in Fargo. His most recent role was as project manager for Construction Engineers in Fargo.
Fuchs earned a construction engineering degree from North Dakota State University. He and his wife, Rachel, live in West Fargo with their four children: Jaxon, Josiah, Jordan and Zoe.
