You may wish to save the date of September 13 to learn more about additional studies that could lead to changes to the Diversion Project. Three meetings full of informational briefings will be held on that date.

The studies are being conducted in response to public input, and are researching potential improvements that may lead to cost savings. The studies follow the April 3rd signing of the Record of Decision (ROD) on the Project’s Final Feasibility Report and Environmental Impact Study (FEIS).

Here are details on when and where the three meetings will be held:

Informational Briefings to Diversion Authority Member Entities
Informational briefings on post-feasibility study efforts will be presented to the various Diversion Authority member entities.
When: 7:30 am on Thursday, September 13

Diversion Authority Board Meeting
Informational briefings on post-feasibility study results and recommendations will be presented to the Diversion Authority.
When: 3:30 pm on Thursday, September 13
Where: City Commission Room

Open House/Public Meeting
An open house and public meeting will be held on post-feasibility study efforts, findings and recommendations, to include poster boards and presentations.
When: 6:00 pm on Thursday, September 13
