Members of the Flood Diversion Board of Authority will be present at an information social on the FM Area Flood Diversion Project at the 31st Annual Red River Basin Land & Water International Summit Conference. The Conference is being held at the Ramada Plaza Suites in Fargo, ND. The social is titled “Protecting Fargo-Moorhead”, and is sponsored by the Diversion Authority.
During the social, project officials will present short updates regarding the flood history of Fargo-Moorhead, the development of flood protection projects, the management of project impacts, and the status of the F-M Area Flood Diversion Project.
The “Protecting Fargo-Moorhead” information social will begin at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, and will be held in the Crystal I ballroom at the Ramada Plaza Suites in Fargo. The social is open to the public.
The Red River Basin Land & Water International Summit Conference is sponsored by the Red River Basin Commission. The Conference runs from January 14-16, 2014, at the Ramada Plaza Suites.
