A mound or earthen material, typically created from placement and compaction of soil, sand, clay and/or rock, to form a barrier to water seepage. Embankments can be used to form dams or created to form walls on the outside of man-made water channels. The Project would include the overflow embankment along Cass County Highway 17 and the tieback embankment to form the staging area.
