Seven video presentations explaining the Diversion Project in extensive detail are now available for viewing in the video section of fmdiversion.com, as well as the new FMDiversion YouTube Channel.
The presentations were given on July 13 to members of the North Dakota Water Education Foundation, who met at the Ramada Plaza Suites in Fargo. The Diversion Authority uploaded the videos so they could be seen by the public, as part of an ongoing effort to keep people informed about a project which will protect approximately 200,000 people in the Fargo-Moorhead metropolitan area from severe flooding.
The videos include a Project overview; a summary of local issues surrounding the Project; and presentations on hydrology, the federal study process, financial modeling, Red River retention modeling, and the long-term flood solutions for the Red River Basin.
The videos are available in the Video section.
